The Lexus NX 250 is a compact luxury crossover SUV that epitomizes the blend of elegance, comfort, and performance. The standard NX250 is equipped with a 203-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, while the NX350 has a 275-hp turbocharged 2.4-liter. Both transmit power via an eight-speed automatic gearbox. However, the NX250 is available with either front- or all-wheel drive, while the NX350 comes standard with all-wheel drive. Two hybrid variants are available, beginning with the NX350h, which combines two electric motors with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine to provide 240 horsepower. The more interesting choice is the NX450h+, which uses the RAV4 Prime's 304-hp (with premium gasoline) plug-in hybrid engine. Both hybrids come equipped with all-wheel drive. While it didn't blow us away with its handling abilities, we observed that the NX's ride was compliant.
